From a very young age, Lydiana showed an innate passion for the dramatic arts. Born in Puerto Rico, she began her acting career at the age of 13 by joining the Centro de Adiestramiento y Bellas Artes (CABA), where she participated in her first theatrical productions, laying the groundwork for her stage career.

Alongside her studies in mechanical engineering, Lydiana chose to explore her artistic calling by taking theater electives, delving into the theories of Konstantin Stanislavski and  Uta Hagen. During this period on her native island, she also ventured into modeling and communications. Her modeling career was solidified when she won the first plus-size beauty pageant in Puerto Rico, earning the title of Miss Puerto Rico Plus 2005, which opened doors for collaborations on television productions for networks such as Telemundo and Wapa TV. Additionally, Lydiana excelled in the communications field, working as an entertainment reporter and festival host in the city of Aguadilla.

After completing her university studies, Lydiana moved to Florida. There, while working in the aerospace industry, she enhanced her artistic training by taking classes in improvisation and dramatic arts, reaffirming her passion for the stage. Her desire to continue perfecting her craft later led her to Los Angeles, where she fully embraced opportunities in the film and television industry. In this city, she studied the Meisner technique with the renowned William Alderson, a disciple designated by Sanford Meisner himself to teach his methodology at New York City’s Neighborhood Playhouse.

Throughout her career, Lydiana has participated in numerous acclaimed theatrical productions, standing out in emblematic plays such as “La Casa de Bernarda Alba,” “Vida de García Lorca,” and “A Streetcar Named Desire.” Her talent has also transcended to the world of cinema, where she has been part of films that have won awards at various festivals, including “Arranca” by Liliana M. Molina, “Guicho” by Hugo Arvizu, “Barren” by Alejandra López, and “Bri & Louey TV” by Luis Guzmán, among others. Moreover, she has made her mark in advertising by participating in international commercials for well-known brands and networks such as WingStop and Bona. She has also earned significant recognition in the world of voiceovers, serving as the official voice for Hughesnet Puerto Rico.
